Some Guyanese may be happy about Gonsalves interference in Guyana’s internal affairs. They might feel he is helping their cause. However, be warned, Gonsalves is not Guyana’s friend.

Ralph Gonsalves has no moral authority: He rigged the last 3 elections in St. Vincent
Mr. Ralph Gonsalves had been credibly accused of rigging the last three elections in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It has been reported that, “In the Vincentian elections, successful electoral fraud has had the effect of a coup d’état or corruption of democracy.
The Completion of the count is not the end of the process: GECOM must decide on PPP fraud.
The numerous discrepancies uncovered during the recount established widespread PPP fraud. There is no doubt this fraud impacted several thousand votes.
Guyana Elections: With the possibility of 43,000 fraudulent votes, GECOM is duty bound to investigate
e know that the real size of the voters roll is 430,000. A 100% turnout would mean 430,000 votes. A 90% turnout would mean 387,000 votes. An 80% turnout would mean 344,000 votes. A 70% turn out would mean 301,000 votes. However, all records, including recount data, suggest 450,000+ total votes at the March 2nd elections.
The Recount has Established the PPP did not win the Elections
This fraud could significantly reduce APNU-AFC majority and deny the will of the people
GECOM must make the recount data available to all political parties so that an election petition could be swift and decisive. In the meanwhile, GECOM must use the existing regional declarations to make a formal declaration and swear in President Granger for a second term.
I disagree with Sherwood Lowe: The Recount must be thorough and Complete; no room for Gimmicks.
The original PPP strategy was to have the results for all Regions, except Region 4, declared. This would have allowed them to push for a recount of Region 4 with new and special rules created by injunctions and court rulings.
PPP’s Nandlall reveals plan for Anarchy
We could see a repeat of what happened during the Region 4 count. PPP operatives could storm the location and irrevocably contaminate the documents. With the recount compromised, and no legal path to government existing, there could be anarchy.
Stop the Recount: it is time for a Government of National Unity.
The only practical way forward is to swear-in President Granger, establish a Government of National Unity, and embark on a constitutional reform process. A recount could be undertaken when it is safe to do so. Prior political agreement should determine how we handle the outcome of the recount.
It is time we put systems in place to shut down the country.
If we fail to mobilize the needed equipment, and implement the needed social distancing measures we could approach the United States worse case scenario of 0.8% of the population. That would be 6,000 deaths as a result of COVID-19. This is a national security crisis.
The PPP is playing a dangerous game
Some may want to ask why. Why would all these countries want regime change in Guyana? The answer is simple. In the new world order, geopolitical dynamics are driven by the economic interest of individuals with influence. One just need to take a look at Ukraine to understand how these things happen. Guyana is emerging as a major oil producer, and some may see it as being ripe for the taking. However, this is a dangerous game being played by the PPP. Just look at Bolivia.
