The PNCR held it’s 21st Biennial Congress today with no incident. According to reports, voting went smoothly, and apart from power outage by Guyana Power and Light, the count is proceeding orderly.
According to preliminary reports so far, Aubrey Norton carried Regions 3, 5, 10, Georgetown and East Bank, handsomely. Joe Harmon carried Region 7. Counting is still in progress. However, at this point it appears it could be Norton by a landslide, and it is reported that Joe Harmon has conceded. He pledged to give Aubrey Norton his support.
