In recent weeks, PNCR Vice Chairman Vinceroy Jordon, MP, has been busy making serious political rounds. He has been visiting communities within Region No. 5, Mahaica-Berbice. During the course of several weeks, he, along with several councillors from the Regional Democratic Council and some Neighborhood Democratic Councils, visited and met with residents in Airy Hall, Fellowship and Park Villages, Mahaicony East Coast Demerara, and D’Edward and Ithaca villages, West Bank Berbice.
On May 11, 2024 he rushed to provide assistance to a young mother of three, who lost her home to fire. He made an appeal for the general public to provide assistance by calling 592-637-6786.
The Party Vice Chairman continued his community out-reach with a visit to Zeskinderen, Mahaicony, E.C.D. He was accompanied by several Regional and NDC Councillors.
Residents of Lichfield South were happy to see the Party Vice Chairman on May 16, 2024 as he and his team of Regional and NDC Councillors visited the area. The Vice Chairman noted several concerns raised by the residents.
The PNCR Vice Chairman’s visits were made at a time when Guyanese are facing increased hardships because PPP incompetence, discrimination and victimization. The residents shared several concerns with the Vice-chairman and team, including the high cost of living and poor drainage. Several PNCR insiders have been high in praise of Jordon for the consistency and commitment be demonstrates doing Party work. Jordon also serves as the Chairman of Region No. 5 of the PNCR. One stalwart said Jordon does the work but does not seek the limelight. She said, this is the kind of leaders the PNCR needs.
On May 21, 2024 the Vice Chairman was part of the Party Leader team that visited Trafalgar Village. The Leader had extensive interaction with residents and even engaged in a few games of dominoes.
